This workshop is led by Claire Lemercier and Claire Zalc. Open to all, it takes place from October 15, 2020 to January 14, 2021.
It aims to help students, doctoral students and researchers in the use of quantitative techniques in history. The objective is to discuss together the different possible uses of quantification in historical practices, the strengths and limitations of these approaches, but also to present the heuristic possibilities offered by statistical analysis in historical writing.
